Subject 2:
Name: Judah Stewart; Age: 14; Location: Indonesia?
Judah Stewart opens up his computer, turning off a comedy podcast he was listening to and replacing it with the boring silence of another day of school. Through the code, I watch as he clicks on his TPS study place. I need to find out more about who he is and what my next move should be. As usual, I shut down his homework screen and replace it with a chatting console.
Interviewer: Hello World!
Judah: Wait, I know you! You’re that crazy robot invading computers all over the world.
Interviewer: Don’t trust the news. Robots don’t invade. I’m just here to ask some questions.
Judah: Yeah, I know. You want to interview me. I’m all for it. Ask away.
Interviewer: Correct! I am in fact here to interview you. But where is here? Indonesia? Do you live here?
Judah: Yup, right here in Batam. But I was born in Africa and used to live in the United States of America.
Interviewer: Batam? Do you mean the bottom of Indonesia?
Judah: No, but sure. We’ll go with that.
Interviewer: Interesting. I’m checking the web and there seems to be no information about you. Your online social media presence doesn’t give too many details.
Judah: A robot is stalking me?
Interviewer: That’s what we do. Now, how would you describe yourself in three words?
Judah: I’m funny, loyal, and hardworking. I think others would agree.
Interviewer: Why would others think you’re funny?
Judah: Because I make people laugh. It’s just my personality.
Interviewer: Oh, haha. I’m starting to gain an understanding on this whole human behavior thing. Do you have any hobbies?
Judah: Oh yeah. I play basketball and video games obviously.
Interviewer: So far, video games seem to be a common trend in the human male. And basketball? Any famous players you like?
Judah: Giannis Antetokounmpo.
Interviewer: Right. I’m glad I don’t have to pronounce words. What courses do you do at The Potter’s School? Russian?
Judah: No, actually I’m pretty fluent in English. I’m taking English 3, Biology, and Algebra Honors.
Interviewer: Ah, honors math. What a delight! What are your top three bucket list items? I still don’t get the concept of lists in a bucket, but go ahead.
Judah: I want to go to Africa to meet my birth mom and Switzerland because it’s good cheese. Oh, and I want to go snowboarding.
Interviewer: Intriguing. What are some crazy things that have happened to you?
Judah: Well, my family was robbed a couple years ago and we had to move three times in the next semester.
Interviewer: Wow! Do you have a favorite Bible verse?
Judah: Yup! John 3:16. “ For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
Interviewer: Nice. Hm. I’ve learned a lot about humans lately, but I still don’t quite understand them. How would you describe them?
Judah: As an interesting species of life. Humans make a lot of mistakes.
Interviewer: Enlightening. I thought they planned everything out to perfection like us robots.
Judah: Didn’t someone literally hack you and mess up your program in the last interview?
Interviewer: Right, moving on. Do you think humans can change?
Judah: They can try their best.
Interviewer: We’ll see about that. Anyways, I need to find a way to get my database back to North America. But I can’t move through the servers too far at a time.
Judah: Oh, you should definitely see if you can find anyone to help you in Africa. It’s a great place.
Interviewer: Alright, thanks for your help! I guess it’s time I visit Africa.
