Hannah Ang: Ramen, Violin, and Dancing Llamas

Mercy: Hey Hannah, and welcome to the last article of this school year!

Hannah: Wow, you’ve made it a long way.

Joshua: She couldn’t have done it without me.

Mercy: Yeah, we all know I would’ve still done great if you weren’t here. Anyway, no more stalling. Hannah, how old are you, what grade are you in, and where do you live?

Hannah: I’m 12, in 7th grade, and I live in Singapore.

Joshua: Do you have any siblings?

Hannah: I have two older brothers.

Joshua: Mercy knows very well how awesome it is to have older brothers, don’t you?

Mercy: (shakes head) Oh, don’t even get me started.

Joshua: She loves me. Anyway, what TPS classes are you taking this year?

Hannah: English 1 Lit and Comp: Journeys and Quests, Pre-algebra (Honors), Christian World History: Heroes of the Faith, Introduction to General Science, Spanish Conversations for Spanish 1A.

Fred: Hey guys, wow that’s a lot of classes. But you know what’s more interesting than classes? Fun facts. What’s a fun fact about you?

Hannah: If someone says a word I’ll automatically think of a song and start singing it.

Mercy: I do that all the time.

Joshua: She does. If you could sum up yourself in three words, what would they be?

Hannah: Sarcastic, musical, and organized.

Mercy: Those words describe me too! Also, bro you skipped a question.

Joshua: Well, pardon me for not reading your mind and finding out that you added a question.

Mercy: You should know this by now, I always add a new question every spotlight. So, Hannah, what are your favorite things to do in the summer?

Hannah: Read, hang out with friends, binge watch shows, hang out with family, and get good food that I normally wouldn’t be able to get because I’m too busy.

Mercy: Nice, what about your talents?

Hannah: Playing piano and violin, art, cooking, and baking.

Mercy: Cool, what about some of your hobbies?

Fred: As a wise man once said, you are just speeding through all these questions. You have to slow down and really take in her answers.

Joshua: Boom. See, he thinks I’m wise.

Mercy: (coughs) His loss.

Joshua: Ouch bro.

Mercy: (evilly smirks) Back to the question, Hannah.

Hannah: Reading, playing instruments, and hanging out with friends and family.

Mercy: Sounds like fun. If money was no object, what would you do all day?

Hannah: Probably go on a shopping spree with my best friends and go to Japan.

Mercy: Nice, sounds like a great day. What’s an interesting or funny story that’s happened in your life?

Hannah: Well, me and my friend came home one day and found my calm brother and his friend playing Just Dance. It was quite entertaining.

Mercy: You know, that sounds just like something Joshua would do.

Joshua: (goes and starts dancing with Fred in the corner)

Mercy: Minus the calm part of course.

Joshua: (still dancing) I heard that.

Mercy: You were supposed to. By the way, your dancing is terrible.

Joshua: I’d like to see you try.

Mercy: I don’t actually think you would. May I remind you that I’ve taken four dance classes and three gymnastics classes? I would smoke your dancing skills to the cold, hard, stone, dead floor.

Joshua: Our floor is wood…

Mercy: Oh, shut up.

Fred: Moving on, Hannah, what are some of your favorites?

Hannah: Piano, ramen, winter, and sleeping.

Joshua: All great things. Who’s someone you want to be like and why?

Hannah: My brother’s friend because she’s really good at singing and she collaborates with other people and I really wanna do that someday.

Mercy: Oo, sounds awesome. What’s your favorite Bible verse?

Hannah: Romans 8:37: “No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.”

Joshua: Great verse. Well, anything else you want to say to the readers?

Hannah: Have a great summer, finish off the year well, and drink water!

Mercy: Yes, great words. Well, thanks for coming in. It was really great to get to know you a little.

Hannah: You too! Fred, it was an honor.

Fred: The honor is all mine.

Hannah: Goodbye!

Mercy: Bye!

Fred: Well, who knows if I’ll be back, but if I am, join us next year where Mercy is better at dancing than Joshua…

Joshua: But I’m still better at roasting.

Mercy: Oh yeah right totally, I promise you if we had a roast battle I would slay you so hard.

Joshua: No-

Mercy: Just don’t even try me.

Fred: Thanks for another great year of clay, if it wasn’t for all of you I would never have been found out.

Mercy: You mean created?

Fred: Wait, you created me?

Mercy: (coughs) What? No. You were totally alive. I just… goodbye!
