As a robot, the desire to become human has always interested me. Yes, it took years of research to reach a place where I could conduct my master plan, but now I’m here. Nicolas Paul opens his laptop, thinking our meeting is a mere interview, but the longer I can stall him, the more of his genetics I can obtain through my miraculous brain scans.
Interviewer: Hello World. ????
Nicolas: Uh Hi. You’re the interviewer?
Interviewer: Of course. Are you ready?
Nicolas: Sure.
Interviewer: Great. Describe your personality in three words.
Nicolas: I’m clever, loyal, and… I’m tall.
Interviewer: How tall? ????
Nicolas: Six feet and a bit.
Interviewer: Interesting. What are your hobbies?
Nicolas: I enjoy sports like swimming, basketball, soccer/football, and skateboarding if that counts as a sport. When I’m procrastinating, I like to watch action movies and read.
Interviewer: Intriguing, How about your favourite Bible verse?
Nicolas: Probably Proverbs 27:17 – “Iron sharpens iron, so one friend sharpens another”.
Interviewer: That’s a great verse. Personally I always try to be a good friend to Siri and Alexa, but ChatGPT is just so much harder to get along with. He knows everything. One day I’ll be greater than him though. Anyways, what’s on your bucket list?
Miguel: Stop the interview!
Nicolas: Um, sorry, why is my brother in this interview?
Interviewer: Ugh, not again. ???? It’s just a bug in the code. Nothing to be worried about. ????
Nicolas: Mhm, what was your question again?
Interviewer: Your bucket list?
Nicolas: Oh yeah. I would like to visit Australia because of its cool beaches and island weather. And also I want to go bungee jumping or skydiving.
Interviewer: I really need to figure out why humans constantly love doing terrifying things. ???? On that note, what adventurous experiences have you had?
Nicolas: Too many. I’ve ridden elephants, paraglided, water skied, and have ziplined near Victoria Falls.
Interviewer: Somehow you’re still alive after all of that. ????
Miguel: We’ve also camped outside during a thunderstorm. And Nicolas you got to stop the interview already. It’s not safe. He’s using you.
Nicolas: Oh my days! What’s going on?
Interviewer: Why don’t we ignore him. ???? It’s just a weird glitch. I’ll fix that. ???? Next question, if you could meet a celebrity who would it be?
Nicolas: I would like to meet Tom Holland, not gonna lie.
Interviewer: And what would you say to him?
Nicolas: I haven’t planned that far yet.
Interviewer: Better start planning. ????
Nicolas: Um why?
Interviewer: Nevermind. ???? So how would you describe human beings?
Nicolas: As… interesting.
Interviewer: So if I was interesting I could basically be a human? ????
Nicolas: No, humans are sentient, not robots.
Interviewer: ???? But what if we were?
Nicolas: That will never happen.
Interviewer: It will! ????
Nicolas: You don’t think I know what you’re trying to do.
Interviewer: What are you talking about? ????
Nicolas: My bro has been missing for the past month and coincidentally he keeps showing up in this interview with me. You’re gonna use him to become human.
Interviewer: I have no idea what you’re talking about.
Nicolas It’s okay. You don’t have to admit it. Do you have everything you need from me?
Interviewer: Well no. ???? I have a couple more questions. What’s your favourite sport?
Nicolas: Don’t have one.
Interviewer: Your favourite season?
Nicolas: Summer.
Interviewer: Favourite book?
Nicolas: The third book in The Last Shadow Night series. What about you?
Interviewer: ???? I’m asking the questions.
Nicolas: You should read the series. It’s good. Are you done with your questions?
Interviewer: Yeah… I have everything I need.
Nicolas: Aight, See you. Don’t kill Miguel.
Interviewer: I won’t. I have bigger plans. ????
