You might know Rachel as a 2020 presidential candidate (Shey 2020! Vote Shey for a better today!) or as this year’s dedicated Arts & Culture Editor. She’s worked for clay for three years, she’s wanted to run for president ever since she was a small child, and she’s been alive for 17 years, all of which she has spent in the lovely state of California. Her favorite pastimes include listening to music with lots of bass, drawing, and arguing about economics.
When you were younger, what did you want to be when you grew up?
I wanted to be an artist! I am still interested in pursuing an animation career, but no matter what road life takes me on, I plan on continuing to advance my art skills.
Favorite Bible Verse:
“And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin.”
“You can’t make an omelette without breaking a few eggs.”
