TPS Seniors 2020

Leonard Anderson – TPS Senior 2020

Leonard was born in the frozen lands of Alaska on a chilly, December morning. He has somehow survived 18 years as the youngest middle child. With two older brothers, and one younger brother, its undoubtedly a miracle. He is best known among his friends as being quiet, reserved, and usually in the background (earning him the title of Stalker). However, he is also known as caring, trustworthy, and dependable.

Leonard is an accomplished amateur photographer, as well as an amateur videographer. His photos have won several prizes in a local, yearly photography contest. A few of his photos have even made the front covers of a couple magazines.

He is finishing his third year at TPS. He has taken Russian 1 & 2 with Mrs. Pledger, Photography-Beginner to Brilliant with Mrs. Hurdt, Algebra (Honors) with Mrs. O’Hearn, and Introduction to Videography with Mr. Reynolds.

Looking forward, Leonard doesn’t know what his future will look like yet. But he plans to go to college for a Bachelor’s in Arts this fall and is hoping to find a job that he’ll enjoy. He is also realizing that hitting the character limit of 5000 for this biography will be really hard, so he’s just going to end it here instead.

When you were younger, what did you want to be when you grew up?

I desperately wanted to be a pilot when I grew up. Mostly because the rest of my family is really into aviation, so I guess I felt like I had to follow their footsteps. But as I got older, I lost interest in aviation, and took up other hobbies.

Favorite Bible Verse:

Psalm 139: 8-10 “If I ascend into heaven, You are there; If I make my bed in hell, behold, You are there. If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, Even there Your hand shall lead me, and Your right hand shall hold me.

I’ve always liked this passage because of the message that God is always with us, no matter where we are, and it paints a very vivid image of that.

Favorite Catchphrase:

“Imagination is the only weapon in the war against reality”
