TPS Seniors 2020

Heidi Ku – TPS Senior 2020

Heidi was born on January 18, 2002 as a bright, young girl. She grew up in Los Angeles, California and lived there for eleven years. When she was eleven, she moved to China due to her parent’s calling towards the mission field. Through her experience there, she learned to grow in her relationship with God and her relationship with the people around her. Heidi started TPS in her junior year of high school. As an outgoing, extroverted girl, she found it difficult to have to work by herself. However, as she continued to study at TPS, she started to love the community and she thoroughly enjoys it. Heidi is so proud and happy that she gets to end her high school year with TPS. If you guys can, it would be awesome if you could attend Heidi’s graduation along with the other seniors who are attending the graduation. Come to celebrate the hard work each student has done!

When you were younger, what did you want to be when you grew up?

When I was in elementary school, I wanted to be a teacher. I was in awe of how kind and generous the teachers I grew up with were and I wanted to also be a teacher who can help others. However, as I grew up, that dream changed, and instead I want to be a pediatrician. One thing I knew for sure was that I wanted to serve kids.

Favorite Bible Verse:

“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.” – Jeremiah 29:11-12

Favorite Catchphrase:

No matter how hard the situation might seem, remember, you got this! And trust in God. He really has a plan for you!
