Meet Anastasia Dulle, otherwise known as Stasi, this year’s PR director. After a surprisingly tech-incident-free meeting, we parted ways knowing each other much better. A 15 year old girl entering 12th grade, Anastasia obviously loves a challenge. She lives far across the world in a town called Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan as the second oldest of two sisters and one brother. Anastasia is entering her sixth year in TPS, and will be taking one of TPS’s new offerings, Contemporary Journalism, along with other classes outside of TPS.
When asked to describe herself in three words, she decided on “Imaginative, Introverted, and Saved.” She says that her favorite verse is Joshua 1:9, a wonderful and encouraging verse. “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”
Outside of school and clay, Anastasia enjoys reading fantasy novels and doing creative writing. She also plays one instrument: the mandolin. If Anastasia could travel anywhere in the world, ignoring any expenses or legal issues, she would travel to England. She used to live in England and wishes to return for a visit some time. After the seemingly simple question, “What is one completely random fact about yourself that most people would not know?”, she considered for a while before laughingly replying that she hates celery. She will accept broccoli and brussel sprouts, but celery is unacceptable. A truly random fact about Anastasia.
This year, Anastasia looks forward to working alongside her team to do an amazing job. With her ambition and willingness to do her job, I feel that she will succeed in her goal. I look forward to seeing what she brings to clay this year.
