From Sherman, New York, Sarah Sears returns to serve as the Engagement Manager on this year’s clay staff! Sarah is an extroverted and artistic tenth-grader who enjoys eating fruit and gummy bears (possibly fruit-flavored gummy bears or gummy-bear-shaped fruit), playing games, creating art, and reading romantic comedies, such as the Selection series by Kiera Cass, or books by Robin Jones Gunn.
A long-time homeschooler, Sarah is now beginning her second year at TPS and as the Engagement Manager. This year, you could catch her in World History and Cultures and English 3: Literature Survey, where she plans to make friends left and right.
Sarah loves spending time with younger kids, her friends, and her Dachshund, Latte. When she grows up, she wants to be a foster parent and adopt children. She is also considering becoming a school counselor, since she enjoys psychology.
Sarah’s favorite things include owls, dolphins, blueberry cheesecake ice cream, photography, peppermint scent, the color blue, and shoes. Sarah’s least favorite things include chocolate, bacon, and sweatpants. When she graduates, Sarah plans to attend a college in Pennsylvania, her parents’ alma mater. One of Sarah’s favorite Bible verses is Psalm 118:14: “The LORD is my strength and my song; He has become my salvation.” We look forward to following Sarah’s contributions to clay this year!
