Meet the Staff

Meet Isabel Yang: PR Content Creator

The first time I met Isabel Yang, we nearly collided in the middle of a soccer field. I was surprised. All I could think was who is this girl and what is she doing here? I’d never seen her before at our soccer games. However, we began talking on the sidelines and discovered that we both were homeschoolers who studied at TPS. I’m pretty sure I screamed. This revelation led to our good friendship, in which we bonded over shared ethnicity and school experiences. Imagine our delight when we found out we were both writing for clay this year!

Isabel is taking over the role of PR Content Creator here at clay. She writes every clay social media post you scroll through on Instagram or Facebook (See? Those posts are actually written by tangible humans!)

With one sister, Danielle, already graduated from TPS, Isabel is a veteran TPS student. As a sophomore at TPS, she plans to take Advanced Composition and Physics.

Introverted yet talkative, Isabel describes herself as extremely organized, logical, and a planning freak. Her personality type is the logistician, ISTJ. She enjoys photography (so much so that she has her own blog/business, <https://isabelyangphotography.weebly.com/>), as well as dancing, reading, and art. Her favorite school subject is anything involving Algebra. She rarely watches movies, but is a self-proclaimed bookworm, having read To Kill a Mockingbird five times already.

Isabel laughs as she tells me that she’s flown over one hundred times in her fifteen years, and that she was once chased by a moose in Yellowstone when she was seven. “Apparently she thought I was food!” she exclaims. Her current greatest aspiration is to quit procrastinating so much. She also wishes to somehow save a life and make someone’s day.

She’d like to leave you with a Bible verse, Romans 8:28 (ESV) – “And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good for those who are called according to his purpose.” Don’t forget to like any social media posts you see this year from clay. Remember, they could have been created by Isabel!
