Calista Kiper is the oldest daughter in a boisterous family of seven. She was born in Houston, Texas on May 19, 2001, and has lived in four different countries and 12 various houses since then. Although she started as a homeschooler, Calista has taken classes both online and at her local international school on Java, Indonesia. Over her high school years, she discovered her ESFJ/ENFJ characteristics and a love for dance, volleyball, studying, and most of all, teaching. She also learned that God never abandons us during hard times, and that the best way to love yourself is to do whatever supports your values. After graduating, Calista plans to major in English at Wheaton College, become an English teacher, and hopefully live overseas! She sends a loving goodbye to the friends and teachers she had at TPS. May the Lord bless you and keep you, and make His face shine upon you.
“Forget the former things;
do not dwell on the past.
See, I am doing a new thing!
Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?
I am making a way in the wilderness
and streams in the wasteland.”As someone who’s experienced a lot of transition, this verse has always encouraged me to look forward to God’s plans. He has great things ahead for each one of us!
