Meet Hannah Wong – Girls’ Spotlight Columnist

A ninth-grade resident of Central Michigan, Hannah Wong is an experienced TPS student with three years under her belt. Currently she serves as clay’s Girls’ Spotlight columnist, as well as studying English 4/5, Advanced Composition, and Pre-Calculus at TPS. Her plans after high school include attending a stellar college (hopefully on a full-ride scholarship) to pursue a career in English, piano, journalism, teaching, or philosophy.

When not pursuing academics, Hannah enjoys reading, writing, biking, painting, photography, playing piano and cello, and people watching. Hannah describes her perfect day as one where she enjoys practicing piano for a few hours before she heads outside or reads a good book. Some of her favorites include The Chosen by Chaim Potok, Heidi by Johanna Spyri, Goodbye, Mr. Chips by James Hilton, and The Stormlight Archive series by Brian Anderson.

When asked to describe herself in three words, Hannah chose quiet, logical, and talented. Next to Jesus, she says her biggest role model is her former youth pastor. Stay tuned as Hannah takes on her fantastic section this year!
