TPS Seniors 2018

Rachel Bodine

Meet Rachel Bodine!

This is Rachel’s sixth and final year with The Potter’s School. Despite the occasional frustration tears, late nights, and rides on the struggle bus, Rachel has thoroughly enjoyed her time with TPS. All of her teachers and classmates have been incredible. Some of her favorite Potter’s School teachers include: Mrs. Selby, Ms. McKeeman, Madame Starosciak, Madame Reilly, Mrs. Fredericks, and Mrs. Campione. Alongside of her high school career with TPS, Rachel has done archery competitively for six years. Since 2013, she has also run her own business, RTreasureBox, on Etsy (, selling miniature, handmade, polymer clay foods, animals, and characters. Rachel would like to thank everyone who has helped to make her Potter’s School experience so memorable. In this coming fall, Rachel plans to attend the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis for a degree in Product Design. Go Gophers!

Favorite Bible verse:

Genesis 9:13 – I have set my rainbow in the cloud, and it shall be a sign of the covenant between me and the earth.

I love this verse and think of it every time I see a rainbow. It reminds me how much God cares about us and how he keeps his promises.

Advice to the younglings of TPS:

Don’t forget to have fun! Draw something, take a walk, look at some flowers, write a story, sing a song, make a cake, share the cake with friends and family— school work can get heavy, but there’s more to high school than just homework.

  1. Rachel! It’s been a while since Pre-AP Chem #2 but that was a great class, and I still remember your participation in it =D (also what was your nickname?!! it’s like the only one not on the note we all wrote to Mrs. Selby)
