TPS Seniors 2018

Aaron Tanaka

Meet Aaron Tanaka!

Aaron has been with TPS for a total of six years (how did that happen?) and has enjoyed, for the most part, every course he took. His favorite would have to be the first class he ever took, General Science with Ms. Mckeeman (that was on GP5, by the way, and the old Studyplace). The rest of the courses at TPS have shown him that he wants to be a mechanical engineer, and he hopes to get a degree from either George Fox University, Washington State U, or UW. Aaron has learned several things through his high school and middle school years with TPS. Firstly, school is a lot more important than elementary school makes you think. Secondly,  school isn’t everything. Finally, whatever you put into school is what you’re going to get out of it. Aaron has learned this both in a negative and positive way throughout his school years at TPS. His favorite part of his TPS years was the friendships he made through forums and the classmates he interacted with. And although they were banned, TPS shipping can’t be beat. Aaron knows this from experience. *cough* Anyways, the future hopefully holds something to do with college, engineering, and cars. He hopes to eventually get an internship or a job with an automotive company like Ford or Tesla, but we’ll see where life takes him. For now, he lives by one motto: Work hard, play harder.

Favorite quote:

Advice to the younglings of TPS:

Work hard, play hard, and don’t forget where you came from or where you are going.

  2. Wow, so I can’t believe this year is ending, and that I’ve only known you for like 2-3 years because it feels like it’s been forever. Thanks for being one of those great, crazy-smart, chill people who make hanging out a blast, even when neither of you have time for it

    • Thanks, Hermy!
Idk about the crazy-smart part, but hangin’ with you was awesome!

  3. Congratulations, Aaron!
