#1. Manchester City F.C.
Current Leagues: Premier League (PL), UEFA Champions League (UCL), English Football League Carabao Cup
Location: Manchester, United Kingdom
Manager: Pep Guardiola
Home Stadium: Etihad Stadium
Ever since August, Manchester City has shocked and astonished soccer pundits and fans alike. Currently, City is on the top of the table in the Premier League with 20 wins and 2 draws in the 22 games that they’ve played so far, thus being the only team in the PL this season to remain unbeaten. Even more record-shattering is their offensive record as a team this season—Manchester City has scored 64 goals in 22 games. In both their UCL and Carabao Cup campaigns so far, they have maintained a win or draw streak with only one loss.
#2. FC Barcelona
Current Leagues: La Liga, UEFA Champions League (UCL), Copa del Rey (La Copa), Spanish Super Cup (Supercopa de España)
Location: Barcelona, Spain
Manager: Ernesto Valverde
Home Stadium: Camp Nou
Barcelona is the only major European team to remain unbeaten this current season (2017-2018) in all of their games. With that being said, in the La Liga, they are currently on the top of the table with 48 goals in 18 games. In the UCL, Barcelona topped their group in the group stage and advanced to the Round of 16, which will be starting in February 2018. In the recent December 23rd El Clásico, Barcelona crushed their fiercest rivals Real Madrid with a 3-0 victory, and they are on track to win their league again.
#3. FC Bayern Munich
Current Leagues: Bundesliga, UEFA Champions League (UCL), DFL-Supercup (German Super Cup), DFB-Pokal (German Cup)
Location: Munich, Germany
Manager: Jupp Heynckes
Home Stadium: Allianz Arena
With 18 matches played in the Bundesliga, Bayern has a widening 14 point lead at the top of the table with 14 wins and 40 goals, and they are on their way to winning the Bundesliga again. Like Barcelona, they have advanced to the UCL Round of 16 and have surpassed expectations. In addition, with their recent 2-1 win against defending champions, Borussia Dortmund, in the DFB Pokal Round of 16, they are probably going to win the German Cup. Part of Bayern’s key to success are the club’s abundance of lethal strikers and skillful playmakers.

How many years have you been apart of TPS?
This is my first year with TPS. I love it so far!
What classes are you taking with TPS this year?
I’m only taking one class–AP World History Section #2 with Mr. Mailand. I really enjoy class (my teacher and my classmates are awesome) and learning about world history, although the course itself is not easy.
What are a few of your hobbies?
I really love playing soccer to the point that I want to play professionally, so I wouldn’t necessarily say that it is a hobby, but I guess it counts. You can probably guess that I also love watching soccer games that are on TV and online. I am an avid reader as well, and I love photography. I enjoy eating grapes and cheesecakes too–I suppose that those count as hobbies.
