Nature Through a Lens

Here are two pictures of reflections in the water. These were taken off of our dock in Bremerton, WA. I was standing, waiting for birds to fly over the water so I could get some shots, but then I turned around and saw the reflection by the shore and decided to capture that moment.

This is a picture of a duck that I captured while it was eating breakfast at a lake in Bremerton, WA. To be honest, I went outside to take pictures of the lake I was observing for a science experiment, and I got side-tracked and started taking more pictures of ducks.

This picture of a seagull was taken off of my grandparents’ dock in Ventura, CA. My mom threw some bread into the water and I caught the photo. We went out to take pictures of ducks, but they were distracted by something else, so this seagull came along and stole the show. I called him Steve.

This final picture is my mom’s dog catching a cheerio. This picture was one of the first ones I took when I started getting into photography again. I found that I liked action pictures, and so I have 100 similar pictures where I threw a cheerio with one hand and caught the picture in another. This was taken at our house in Poulsbo, WA.
