The starry-eyed who wander in the night,
The ones who, with their hands weave tales and dreams,
Perhaps not only do they watch moonlight
Or muse in grass by those enchanted streams.
Perhaps the ones with daydreams that do soar
Beyond the bounds of possibility,
They are who, dream of days with no more war,
To change the world, have capability.
Impossible! I hear the realists say.
The dreamers, though? I see them, fighting strong,
For in their hearts, can dream they of a day
Where there is good, and no more pain and wrong.
The dreamers do things unbelievable,
For to them, they are things conceivable.
