Ladies and gentlemen, meet our new Biblical Spotlight columnist, Natalie Finch! She’s 16 going on 17 and enjoys reading, writing, baking, sewing, Minecraft, singing, and making up songs on the piano. As you can see, she’s rarely bored. In addition to enjoying writing as a hobby, Natalie also says it’s her favorite subject in school. Natalie has an older and younger brother, as well as a younger sister.
As for future college plans, she hopes to get a degree in Secondary English Education or Vocal Performance. If Natalie could choose a superpower, it would be invisibility, although she would love to be able to fly if she wasn’t so scared of heights. If she could master anything without trying, it would be writing without grammar or spelling mistakes. When asked what shows she could binge watch forever, Sherlock and Psych come out on top. Natalie’s favorite books are Pride and Prejudice, Persuasion, Great Expectations, and The Three Musketeers, and if she could live in any storybook, she would choose the world of the Harry Potter series.
Her dream day would include perfect weather: sunny, warm, and NOT humid. She would be able to wake up at 10:00 a.m. and have her dad’s amazing waffles for breakfast; she also wouldn’t have to go to work, so she would be able to enjoy nature and sing all day. If I were to give her a million dollars right now, without the option to save any of it, Natalie would give a lot of it to the poor, and then she would buy a car, go shopping with her mom and sister, and invest in the stock market. Finally, if she could meet anyone, past or present, it would be her great-grandmother, Delight. Natalie’s mom has told her many stories about Delight, but sadly Natalie has never been able to meet her.
I hope y’all enjoyed learning about the fantastic Natalie Finch just as much as I have!
